$10,000 Signing Bonus! Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Must be PMH Certified) -North Conway, New Hampshire ($125,000 base salary with incentives / loan repayment eligible and the hospital will guarantee loan repayment in contract)
We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join a well-respected behavioral health team. The team consists of 2 PMHNPs, 2 LICSWs, 2 LCMHCs, case manager and three medical assistants to support the team. There is a child adolescent psychologist and psychiatrist also available during clinic hours for collaborating support and training. The team is fully committed to ensure the success of the PMHNP. The Provider can expect a schedule of Monday -Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with the potential for a 4/10s schedule. Base salary starts at $125,000 with incentive

The Psychiatric ARNP will provide direct patient care services though the hospital to patients of all ages. These services will include but not be limited to: recording of physical and mental status, performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, ordering of diagnostic tests, implementing and managing plans of care, as well as prescribing and dispensing of medications.
• Qualifications
o Graduation from an accredited program of study based upon current ARNP standards of practice. PMHNP Certification Required
o Current NH State Licensure and National Certification.
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
o Maintains a good working relationship with all levels of personnel, medical staff, administration, and the public.
• Essential Functions of the Job
o Perform comprehensive psychiatric examinations on patients of all ages, including but not limited to physical and mental health status, psychosocial history, and 5 Axis DSM-IV TR Diagnosis.
o Initiate appropriate diagnostic tests for screening and evaluation of patient’s current health status as it relates to psychiatric illness / diagnosis.
o Formulate a diagnosis, implement a plan of care, and manage treatment regimens.
o Use evidence-based best practice to formulate treatment plans and teachings.
o Schedule follow-up evaluations to monitor efficacy of treatment and adjust as indicated.
o Assess and update patient history, mental status, and diagnostic tests as needed.
o Continuously plan, teach, promote and manage both the physical and mental health of the patient.
o Administer, prescribe, and dispense pharmacological agents.
o Arrange appropriate referrals to other care providers.
o Monitor psychiatric services through utilization and peer review procedures, and ensure ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained.
o Stabilize patients in life-threatening or unusual situations until emergency transport and/or placement can be arranged.
o Document all services provided in the patient’s medical record.
o Provide staff and family consultation around medication and other clinical concerns.
o Attend and participate in departmental, hospital, and community based committees and task forces.
o Perform all other duties as assigned.
