Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Loan Repayment Eligible Site / Excellent Collaborating Support and Training for New and Recent Graduates) – Experience with Substance Abuse / Addiction a plus! Abilene, Texas
Due to the growth of the service, we are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner interested in working in an out-patient setting for a community based health clinic convenient to Abilene, TX. The PMHNP would work Mon-Fri (8:0am-5:00pm) with no weekends in an outpatient setting with excellent collaborating physician support. The Provider would conduct one new evaluation every hour and med/checks run every 15 to 20 minutes. The Provider would see patients with a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, suicidal ideology, bi-polar disorder, as well as provide therapy to individuals dealing with grief/loss, anger and stress management, divorce recovery and other life issues. The base salary is $125,000-$140,000 (Depending Upon Experience) with a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with match, paid malpractice insurance, CME Allowance (non-capped and approved by the Director), Paid CME time off, all licensure, dues fees and DEA covered by the practice. Signing Bonus and relocation allowance (Up to $10,000) provided by the facility. This position qualifies for Federal Loan Repayment of $25,000 per year (minimum of a two year commitment required in exchange for $50,000) paid directly to the Provider’s federally qualified student loans. All other provider’s in this clinic that have loan repayment needs are receiving loan repayment dollars due to a government grant. Texas is a no-income tax state with a very reasonable cost of living.
